Drawing on his Mediterranean roots, Arie Dakesian has created a vibrant programme that weaves together classical favourites with his own arrangements. This musical journey offers audiences a fresh and intimate perspective on music and the magic it holds. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, to an Armenian family, Arie is currently working on his PhD at the world's most celebrated music conservatoire - the Royal College of Music in London - and is the recipient of the Julian Bream Trust Scholarship. Hear Scarlatti, Piazolla, Tarrega and some wonderful surprises!

Chiltern Kills 2025 at Gerrards Cross

Chiltern Kills, the UK's best one-day crime and thriller writing festival is happening on Saturday 4th October at Colston Hall, GX Community Association on East Common in Gerrards Cross. Doors open 9am. There'll be dozens of bestselling authors and celebrities, including Lisa Jewell, Robert Thorogood, the Rev Richard Coles, Steph McGovern, Jeremy Vine, on stage, mingling in the Chiltern Fills gourmet food village and pulling pints at the WhoDunHim Inn run by Windsor and Eton Brewery. Tickets are still only £40 with all proceeds going to combat homelessness. There are also special tickets available for aspiring or unrepresented authors who would like to meet a literary agent one-to-one.
